# Stock verification (audit)

> Check the jewellery in your shop against the tags in the app, counter by counter or category by category.

Stock verification is your stock audit. You choose what to check, such as one counter or one category, and the app lists the tags that should be there. Your staff then confirm each piece.

**Menu:** Stock → Tag Inventory → Stock Verification

#### Name the audit

Enter **Audit Name**, such as *Kammal counter – October*, and the **Schedule Date**. Add a **Description** if you like.

#### Choose what to check

Under **Verification Parameters**, pick at least one: Category, Sub Category, Item, Sub Item, Floor, Counter, Tray or Rack.

#### Review the items

The **Items to Verify** list shows each Tag Code, Item, Qty, Weight and Status.

#### Save

Click **Save**.

> **Tip**
>
> Check one counter or tray at a time. A small audit every week is easier than a full shop count once a year.
