# Day book

> See every entry of the day - money in, money out and the closing balance.

**Menu:** Reports → Daybook Report

The cards at the top show **Total Inward**, **Total Outward**, **Transactions** and **Closing Balance**.

#### Pick the period

**Date Preset** starts at **Today**. Choose another preset or set a **Custom Date Range**.

#### Filter by type

Use **All Types** to show only one kind of entry.

#### Search

Type a voucher number or party name in **Search voucher / party**.

#### Export

Click **Export All** to save the day book. Click **Reset** to clear filters.

> Check the day book every evening before closing the shop, and match the closing balance with the cash in the drawer.
