# Metal rate

> Enter the day's gold and silver selling and buying rates.

**Menu:** Accounts → Finance → Metal Rate

The list shows Date, Time, Rates (Selling) and Description.

Click **Add Rate**.

#### Set date and time

Effective Date \* (today) and Effective Time \* (AM). Add a Description if you like.

#### Enter the rates

For **Gold** and **Silver**, enter the **Selling Rate** and **Buying Rate**.

#### Save

Click **Save rates**.
